A personalised PC component research and recommendation service designed to help customers build their own PC.
Performance Optimisation
A personalised service designed to identify opportunities to improve the price-to-performance ratio or configuration of an existing PC or proposed PC build.
Custom PC Build
A comprehensive service where Oasis Custom PCs researches, sources, assembles, configures, tests and ships a completed PC.
The exact inclusions, limitations and deliverables of each service are described on the relevant product or service page.
8. Customer Information and Consultation Questionnaires
Our consultation services rely on information provided by the customer.
You are responsible for providing information that is reasonably accurate and complete, including information about:
Your intended PC usage
Games and software
Budget
Existing components
Performance requirements
Desired resolution
Aesthetic preferences
Current PC problems
Building experience
Other requirements relevant to your project
Our recommendations are based on the information available to us at the time the consultation is performed.
If information supplied by you is inaccurate, incomplete or changes after our recommendations are prepared, the recommendations may no longer be suitable for your circumstances.
We may request clarification where necessary before preparing or revising a recommendation.
9. Parts Lists and Recommendations
Our parts lists are individually researched and prepared based on your requirements, budget and intended use.
We aim to recommend components that provide strong value and performance for your particular circumstances.
However:
Component prices can change
Component availability can change
Products may be discontinued
Stock can sell out
Manufacturer specifications may change
Retailer pricing can change
Performance can vary between applications
Software and games may receive updates that affect performance
Accordingly, a parts list is a recommendation based on information available at the time it is prepared and is not a guarantee that every component will remain available at the quoted price.
We may need to recommend an alternative component where a selected component becomes unavailable or materially changes in price.
Where a material change is necessary for a Custom PC Build, we will communicate the proposed change to the customer where reasonably practicable before proceeding.
10. DIY Build Consultation
The DIY Build Consultation service provides customers with personalised component recommendations and supporting explanations.
The service generally includes:
A customer requirements questionnaire
Personalised component research
A recommended parts list
Explanations of recommended components
Alternative component recommendations where appropriate
The revision allowance specified on the relevant service listing
The customer is responsible for assembling their own PC when purchasing the DIY Build Consultation service.
Oasis Custom PCs does not physically assemble, configure or ship a completed PC as part of this service.
Unless otherwise stated, the customer is responsible for:
Purchasing the recommended components
Checking retailer purchasing conditions
Physically assembling the PC
Installing components
Installing software
Installing the operating system
BIOS configuration
Troubleshooting the physical build
Our recommendations are intended to assist you but do not replace the manufacturer’s installation instructions or safety requirements.
11. Performance Optimisation Service
The Performance Optimisation service provides recommendations based on your existing hardware or proposed PC configuration.
Recommendations may include changes to:
CPU
GPU
RAM
Storage
Motherboard
Cooling
Power supply
Other computer components
Configuration or software considerations
The objective is generally to improve performance, value, efficiency or suitability for the customer’s intended use.
Actual performance may vary depending on the hardware, software, games, applications, drivers and other circumstances outside our control.
We do not guarantee a specific FPS, benchmark score or performance increase unless a specific performance outcome has been expressly agreed in writing and is legally capable of being guaranteed.
12. Custom PC Build Process
Our Custom PC Build service generally follows this process:
Step 1 — Purchase
The customer selects the Custom PC Build service and pays the applicable consulting/service fee.
Step 2 — Requirements Questionnaire
After payment has been confirmed, the customer completes our requirements questionnaire.
Step 3 — Initial Parts List
Oasis Custom PCs researches and prepares a personalised parts list and supporting explanation document.
Step 4 — Revisions
The customer reviews the proposed configuration and may request revisions in accordance with the service terms.
Custom PC Build customers are generally entitled to unlimited revisions before final approval, subject to the terms of the relevant service listing.
Step 5 — Final Approval and Invoice
Once the customer confirms that they are satisfied with the proposed configuration, Oasis Custom PCs will prepare the final invoice for the components, shipping and any other applicable charges.
Step 6 — Payment and Ordering
Components will not ordinarily be ordered until the required invoice and consulting/service fee have been paid in full.
Step 7 — Assembly and Testing
Oasis Custom PCs will source the components, assemble the PC, install agreed software, configure the system and perform appropriate testing.
Step 8 — Shipping
Once the PC has been completed and tested, it will be packaged and shipped to the customer’s nominated delivery address.
Step 9 — Enjoy Your PC
The completed PC is delivered to the customer.
13. Custom PC Build Approval
Before components are ordered, the customer is responsible for reviewing the final parts list and confirming that they wish to proceed.
By approving the final configuration, the customer confirms that they have had an opportunity to review:
The selected components
Intended use
Performance requirements
Aesthetic requirements
Compatibility considerations
Applicable limitations
Estimated total cost
This approval does not waive any rights the customer has under Australian law.
14. Custom PC Build Payment
The Custom PC Build service generally involves:
An initial consulting/service fee; and
A subsequent invoice covering the agreed PC components and applicable shipping or other charges.
Components will generally not be ordered until the applicable invoice and required fees have been paid in full.
Prices may change before components are purchased due to retailer pricing, availability, stock levels, shipping costs, currency movements or other circumstances outside our control.
Where the final price materially changes before components are ordered, we will notify the customer before proceeding.
15. Payment Methods
We currently accept payment methods including:
PayPal
Stripe
Apple Pay
Google Pay
WooPayments
Payment providers may impose their own terms, conditions and privacy policies.
Your payment information may be processed directly by the relevant payment provider.
16. Pricing and Pricing Errors
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that prices displayed on our website are accurate.
However, errors may occasionally occur.
If we identify a material pricing error before an order is fulfilled, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price.
If you do not wish to proceed, we will provide any refund required by applicable law.
A price displayed on our website does not necessarily guarantee that the same price will remain available indefinitely.
17. Component Availability
PC components are subject to availability.
A component may become unavailable between the time a parts list is prepared and the time an order is placed.
Where a component is unavailable, we may recommend an alternative component with comparable or suitable specifications.
For Custom PC Builds, we will seek customer approval for material substitutions where reasonably practicable before proceeding.
18. Custom Water Cooling
Our Custom PC Build service does not currently support custom water-cooling systems.
Custom PC Builds will use either:
Air cooling; or
An all-in-one (AIO) liquid cooler.
19. Assembly, Configuration and Testing
Custom PCs are assembled and configured by Oasis Custom PCs.
Where applicable, we may:
Install the operating system
Install agreed software
Install drivers
Configure system settings
Perform hardware testing
Stress test the system
Benchmark the system
Check system stability
Perform basic quality-control checks
Testing is intended to identify obvious hardware or configuration problems before the PC is shipped.
Testing cannot guarantee that every possible software, game, driver or hardware issue will be identified.
20. Software and Licensing
Where software is included with a Custom PC Build, it will generally be software that is legally available for installation and use.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate licences for software they request us to install.
Oasis Custom PCs will not knowingly install pirated, cracked or unlawfully obtained software.
Where a customer supplies software or licence information, the customer remains responsible for ensuring that the software and licence are legitimate and that installation is authorised.
21. Customer-Supplied Components
Unless expressly agreed in writing, Oasis Custom PCs does not guarantee that customer-supplied components will be compatible with a proposed build.
If we agree to use customer-supplied components, we may inspect the components before installation.
We may decline to install a component where we reasonably believe it is:
Unsafe
Damaged
Counterfeit
Incompatible
Defective
Unsuitable for the intended system
Any applicable customer-supplied-component conditions will be communicated before installation.
22. Delivery and Shipping
Completed Custom PCs are shipped using an appropriate delivery service, currently including Australia Post where applicable.
Estimated delivery and completion times are provided in good faith and may vary due to:
Component availability
Supplier delays
Shipping delays
Public holidays
Extreme weather
Natural disasters
Delivery-provider disruptions
Other circumstances outside our reasonable control
Our typical Custom PC Build completion timeframe is approximately 10–20 business days after required payment and component availability, but this is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date unless expressly agreed otherwise.
This does not affect any rights you may have where Australian law requires a product or service to be supplied within a particular timeframe.
23. Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address.
If an incorrect address is provided and the package is returned, redirected or otherwise incurs additional costs, we may contact the customer regarding the additional costs.
We will not impose costs that cannot lawfully be imposed under Australian law.
24. Inspection on Delivery
Customers should inspect their completed PC and packaging as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery.
If the package or PC appears damaged, customers should:
Take photographs of the packaging and damage
Keep the original packaging
Contact Oasis Custom PCs as soon as reasonably practicable
Follow any instructions provided by us
Customers should not discard damaged packaging until the matter has been resolved.
25. Returns, Refunds and Warranty
Returns, refunds and warranty claims are handled in accordance with our Refunds, Returns & Warranty Policy.
That policy forms part of these Terms.
Nothing in either policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
26. Customer Modifications
Customers may modify or upgrade their PCs after delivery.
However, damage caused by modifications may not be covered by any voluntary warranty provided by Oasis Custom PCs.
Examples include:
Component replacement
Additional component installation
Overclocking
Undervolting
BIOS modification
BIOS flashing
Cooling-system modification
Operating-system modifications
Third-party repairs
This does not remove any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
27. Data and Backups
Customers are responsible for maintaining backups of important data.
Before sending a PC to Oasis Custom PCs for service, customers should back up important information and, where reasonably possible, remove sensitive personal information.
Oasis Custom PCs is not responsible for data loss caused by troubleshooting, repair, hardware replacement, operating-system installation or other service activities except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

You may use the recommendations to purchase, build or upgrade your own PC.
You must not commercially resell, reproduce or redistribute our personalised consultation documents, research or proprietary templates without our permission.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any liability that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.
